Bangladesh has seen unfortunate major fire incidents like Tazreen Fashion Fire where the cause is presumed to be electrical short circuit. After the tragic Rana Plaza Collapse the Ready Made Garments (RMG) sector of Bangladesh has seen a drastic change in the field of Safety Engineering. Alliance and Accord were formed immediately after the incident and huge focus were given on the safety of garments workers.
